Ch. 01Origin

Born in Sweden. Built in Dubai.

I grew up in Sweden, moved to the UAE in January 2024. The decade before that was spent in two parallel tracks: freelance UI/UX and brand identity work on one side, and PMP-certified project management on the other, delivering tax tech and e-Invoicing systems for an employer I won't name here.

Ch. 02The pivot

Why I'm running both tracks.

The freelance side kept winning. I love building brand identity that's actually impactful, and systems that revive businesses. Most of all I love problem solving. So I kept the day job and started building Itqan Studio in public. Two tracks. One operator. Conscious pressure. The bet is on compounding.

I love building brand identity that's impactful, and systems that revive businesses.

Ch. 03Why Itqan

Excellence in a world that's shortcutting it.

Itqan in Arabic means mastery, craftsmanship, doing something with full care. I picked the name because as AI accelerates, excellence becomes rarer. Most operators take the easy way out. I use AI intentionally as an accelerator and keep the human process and judgment intact. That's the moat. That's the standard.

The worldview

Seven beliefs that shape every decision.

The faith-frame versions live on the podcast. These are the professional restatements. Same conviction, different vocabulary.

01

Intent compounds.

A decision made with full clarity outperforms ten made under noise. The clearer your why, the cheaper your what.

02

A worldview is an operating system.

A consistent value-stack lets you make a hundred small decisions without thinking. Without one, every choice is a tax.

03

Excellence is shipping with full care.

Perfection is procrastination dressed up. Itqan is the standard: do the work properly, then iterate.

04

You are the experiment.

Read after you ship. The fastest way to learn a system is to live inside one for a year. The receipt is the credential.

05

Character is the foundation of brand.

The way you handle a difficult client meeting, a missed deadline, a slow month — that's the brand. Marketing is the surface.

06

Output without point is noise.

Systems matter. Systems pointed at the wrong target are expensive busywork. Define the target first, then build the system.

07

Compounding now and later are not opposites.

Short-term execution and long-term reputation are the same project. The blueprint is designed for both.

An interlude
I read the books after I ship.

What I'm against

Four patterns I refuse to be.

Undertones in every piece of copy. Never named in the work itself. Always the contrast.

Villain · V1

The Logo-Chaser

Confuses aesthetic for strategy. Opens Pinterest before they open a brief. Thinks a new logo will tell them what the brand stands for.

Your brand problem isn't a logo problem. It's a decision problem.

Villain · V2

The Outsource-Operator

Hands off the brand to a designer, the system to a developer, the story to a copywriter, then wonders why the three pieces don't sound like one person. Mistakes delegation for taste.

Engineer. Designer. Storyteller. All in one.

Villain · V3

The AI-Shortcut Operator

Lets AI write the brief, generate the logo, draft the post, ship the deck. Confuses speed for craft. Calls the average good enough.

AI is an accelerator. The taste is mine. The process is mine. The receipts are mine.

Villain · V4

The Theory Stacker

Read every book. Quotes Hormozi, Jasmin, Sinek, Newport. Never shipped a thing they'd put their face on. Library card without a portfolio.

The work is the case study. Receipts before references.

What shaped me

The library that keeps showing up in the work.

Not a complete list. The eight that compound across every project.

Let's work

It would be an honor.

I run a small calendar. If you've read this far and the worldview lines up, I'd love to hear what you're building.
